Our wool fleece Engel sleeping bag provides plenty of warmth without overheating. Wool is amazing at balancing out the temperature so babies are never too warm or too cold wearing wool.

Thanks to the long zip the front of the sleeping bag can be opened wide. This makes it easier to place your child inside when she is asleep. A great advantage for newborns and makes transitioning from sleeping in the carrier to the bed easy. Wool fleece doesn't feel cold to the touch so this always helps makes sleep transitions go smoothly.

In my experience our children slept so much better when in a sleeping bag, especially since neither of them could keep any kind of blanket on them. I believe it kept them feeling snug and secure.
